Race Schedule


General
This event will bring hundreds of competitors and spectators throughout Northern California to the quaint downtown area of Lodi. Expect an expo area, large crowds, lots of bikes and racers navigating the downtown course at 30 miles per hour with sprints reaching 40 miles per hour.

The day starts at 8 AM with amateur races and ends with spectacular professional races at 1:00 PM. A free kids and adult beach cruiser race makes this a great family event.

Raffle
City Bicycles of Lodi will be raffling off a couple of beach cruisers after the adult beach cruiser race along with a prize pack courtesy of Sierra Adventure Outfitters.

Free and Discount Lodging
The Hampton Inn-Lodi is providing free rooms on Saturday for the winners of the men and women P/1/2 divisions at any Saturday race. If the winner does not claim it, the free room will roll down until it is claimed by the highest placing finisher.

All athletes will get a special Lodi Cycle Fest rate. Receive an additional discount by presenting your receipt from any Saturday race. Complimentary hot and continental breakfast is included. Also, special athlete goody bags will be waiting in your room compliments of the Hampton Inn. Please call the Hampton Inn immediately after your race to claim your free room.

In addition, Michael David Winery will be pouring for all those lodging at the Hampton Inn on Saturday night.

Team and Sponsor Booths
Booth space is available for all teams and sponsors in our expo area. Set up a booth, warm up and promote and sell your sponsors products. Teams can also park in the team parking area (shown on course map) hosted by The Dancing Fox Winery & Bakery.

Be sure to stop by for their special cycle fest day menu including an omlette bar, sandwiches, soups, salads, pasta premavera as well as their famous Artisan bread and pastries. Race day hours are 7am-6pm.

Wine Garden & Espresso
Our VIP area will offer front row seats to all the action and includes food by De Vinci's and beverage by Michael David Winery. VIP access is available to all sponsors and athletes. Registration also includes a free beer ticket to Lodi Beer Co. Espresso bars at The Dancing Fox on School & Walnut and Tilly's on School & Pine.


wine7 Deadly Riders:
Michael David Winery will be awarding an additional cash bonus to the top 7 riders in the men's and women's P/1/2 field. The winners will also receive a GIANT, custom made Lodi Cycle Fest wine bottle by Michael David and complimentary dining for two at The Dancing Fox Winery & Bakery.

Kids Race/Adult Beach Cruisers:
Kid’s race and adult beach cruiser race are free and open to the public. Bring your own bike and helmet. All participants will receive a free gift from The Dancing Fox Winery & Bakery.

Art Prints and T-Shirts:
Limited edition art prints will be available, signed and numbered by Damian Gonzalez. GIC will be onsite screen printing custom Cycle Fest shirts. You choose logos and placement.

Media Coverage
XP Multimedia will be filming and posting online race videos of the Cycle Fest plus coverage by local TV stations.

Registration closes 15 minutes before each race. Promoter reserves the right to add or combine fields. A current USCF license must be presented at registration. One-day USCF licenses may be purchased at registration.

Course
A 0.8 mile figure 8 course with tight turns, good pavement and some brick/ cobblestone. The start/finish line is located on Pine and School Street in Downtown Lodi. Teams can park in the team parking area (shown on course map) hosted by The Dancing Fox Winery & Bakery where you will be able to sample a variety of Artisan bread and pastries.

From CA-99 Take the Turner Rd. exit west toward Lodi. Turn left on River Point/Sacramento St.

Primes
(pronounced preems)
During a race, the race announcer calls out "prime lap" and rings a bell letting riders know that the next lap will be a prime lap. This means that whoever is first over the start/finish line for that lap wins that prizeand the race continues. These prizes are usually cash or a product. Primes can be donated by anyone at anytime during a race.
